In today’s conversation we’re tackling the topic of Uncommon Success Metrics: What are the markers of success if you take MONEY out of the mix

These roundtable conversations have centered on moments in business owners’ lives when things aren’t going exactly as planned.

And usually that comes back to revenue goals. It’s a metric we often turn to as an indicator of the health of a business. Of course, that’s super important, it’s how we pay ourselves, employ our team’s, invest in our businesses, and support our families.

But, if you’ve always measured your business’s success by the revenue marker, and revenue isn’t growing, you might feel compelled to use it as a referendum on the success of your business — you might start to give yourself a hard time or convince yourself things are not going well.

Today’s conversation is about the other markers of success that are less celebrated but also important — because if you hinge your perception of success on that single metric — MONEY — you’re missing an opportunity to celebrate all the other things that are enriching you as a person and actually growing your business.

And I’ll talk more about my personal and professional experience of using money as a metric and having to reorient that.

For now, I’m so excited to have a panel of prolific, savvy, and experienced business owners with me for this conversation: Crunch Ranjani, Morgaine Trine, and Rachael Nelson.
