The only way out is through. If you want to be done with this uncomfortable situation, if you want to get rid of these negative nagging thoughts — the ones you think over and over again, if you want to emerge, finally, into the light, leaving the darkness behind, you must keep going. You must feel. You must engage. You must be aware. Be in it. And it will pass. But, if you run, it will chase you.
