the-pitch-podcast-art-episode-art-3Holly Worton is an author and business mindset coach for women entrepreneurs. She works with women who are feeling stuck and frustrated with their business. Holly helps them release their fear of visibility, set aligned prices for their products and services, and take easy inspired action to grow their business.

In a particularly inspiring interview, Holly shared with me her personal and professional journey that has led her to where she is now.  She talked about how letting herself make several changes in direction helped her to find the work she now does.

She also talked about training that she took part in some time ago called Psych-k.  She said that it not only helped her make dramatic changes in her personal life but also began to have an impact in her professional life.

When we got around to discussing how she has been going about securing publicity for her business we veered into a discussion about how she as a podcaster likes to receive pitches for her own show. Certainly being someone who is on the receiving end of pitches has made her more conscious of how she goes about pitching the media.  Interestingly, one of her questions had to do with the fact that often times she does not receive a response to her pitches and she was wondering how long she should wait to follow up before sending another communication.  She also shared some great insight on how she goes about using her YouTube channel to both raise her visibility and gain new clients.

Be sure to listen to this episode to hear all that we fleshed out in terms of how she can go about getting more visibility for her brand as well as tips she shared for those of you who are pitching podcasters.
