Organized and Systemic Planning
Give yourself enough time and use checklist when you are planning a big event
Bring on the support of cross promotions. Think creatively and expand your reach for promotion
Clear Communication- Put it down on paper, especially agreements with sponsors and cross promo partners
To Do: Figure out your Four Pillars of Pre-Production.
Business is built on relationship. Make a list of 5 people that you have been thinking about and meaning to reach out to. Then schedule in some time to simply call, text, FB message or email that person. Keep in mind, the more high touch your outreach the better :) (hint hint, call them)
Show up and be of service. The great thing about live events is that it allows you to gain visibility and share your work in an impacting way
Share your wisdom- don't hide, find the way you want to be seen (audio, written, video) and do it consistently. This is an excellent way to build up attendance to an upcoming event.
Don't give away your services. price your event tickets accordingly as well as sponsor opportunities.
Don't be afraid to think BIG and conceptualize an event that truly lights you up. Remember you don’t need to do it alone;)
